Face Palette partners with Nykaa for Nykaa’s Beauty Bar event in Kochi

On 27th March, all roads for Kerala’s beauty enthusiasts led to Le Meridian Kochi. This is were India’s India's largest online beauty destination - www.nykaa.com - was partnering with Kerala’s innovative Pro Makeup training studio The Face Palette by Lekshmi Menon for Nykaa’s Beauty Bar event in Kochi. This was a high end ground activity where the idea was to take the online experience of beauty to offline, thereby providing an opportunity for beauty enthusiasts to get a touch and feel of the brand.

Nykaa.com was launched in 2012 by Falguni Nayar whereas The Face Palette was initially founded as a Facebook page providing makeup tricks and tips by Lekshmi Menon in 2014 before it got transformed into a fully fledged company in 2017. For the Nykaa Beauty Bar event in Kochi, The Face Palette’s team of seven makeup artists ( called Facepalette Makeup Angels) led by Lekshmi Menon provided celeb inspired makeovers for about 150 of makeup enthusiasts, customers and beauty influencers from Kerala during the four hour session. These invitees were Nykaa's high spenders from the city as well as socialites. Nykaa's beauty bar Kochi had 3 makeover counters each manned by 2 of the Face Palette makeup angels. These makeover counters offered visitors a option to look at the photo of a celeb at the counter and then get a makeover inspired by the celeb. After the Face Palette makeup angel had done the initial makeup, Lekshmi Menon provided the final touchup for the makeovers.

The event was extensively covered by major mainstream newspapers including The Hindu Business Line, New Indian Express amongst others.
