#NewYearNewYou2022 Campaign

The way you start the New Year will dramatically set up the way the rest of it unfolds. At Face Palette, we have been running an annual campaign called #NewYearNewYou for the past few years as part of our #MakeOverChangesLife movement. This campaign is structured to boost the confidence of our participants by giving them free makeovers and thereby, enabling them to see a side of themselves which they have not seen before. We believe that this will help to boost the self-image of a person and as we can see during the makeovers, it has the possibility to become a turning point in a person’s life.

As part of this campaign, women above the age of 18 fill a set of questionnaires giving a brief overview of themselves and why they require the makeover. Based on the answers from these applications, we shortlist a limited number of participants who are given a Makeover by Makeup Guru Lekshmi Menon FRSA. These makeovers are then featured on our Facebook page through which 'Face Palette' Facebook Community will vote on the “Before” and “After” picture and the finalist who wins the most number of votes will be chosen as #NewYearNewYou WINNER. The winners gets a free personalised makeup class from Makeup Guru Lekshmi Menon, in addition to makeup goodies.

Lekshmi Menon is the 1st Indian Makeup Artist to be nominated to the Royal Society of Arts (RSA), a 265 years London based society whose Patron is is Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Lekshmi joins other leading artists such as James Bond actress Judi Dench FRSA, Musician Alex James FRSA , composer Benson Taylor FRSA amongst others who are fellows of RSA

She is only the 2nd Indian from Beauty Services to speak at the British Parliament in London after Shahnaz Hussain, who achieved that feat few years ago.

After successful campaigns in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, Face Palette is back with the #NewYearNewYou campaign as part of our #MakeoverChangeslife initiative. All women above the age of 18 can participate in this campaign.

As part of this campaign, 4 women will be chosen to receive a FREE makeover from Makeup Guru Lekshmi Menon at our studio in Kadavantra, Kochi between January 2022 and February 2022.   The 4 women will then be featured on our Facebook page through which 'Face Palette' Facebook Community will vote on the “Before” and “After” picture and the finalist who wins the most number of votes will be chosen as #NewYearNewYou WINNER.

How to Apply:

Following are the benefits for women who participate in the #NewYearNewYouCampaign 2022.  The total prize for this competition is more than Rs 1.25 Lakhs.

​

  1. The winner will receive a personalised free 1-day makeup class from Makeup Guru Lekshmi Menon and a gift hamper, which is together worth Rs 25,000.

  2. From the list of registrations, 4 women will be selected to get Free MAKEOVER from Lekshmi Menon

  3. The 4 women shortlisted for the makeovers will also receive a 10% discount if they are interested to attend our internationally certified makeup artistry course.

  4. All registrations for this campaign will receive a 10% discount on availing of any Makeup service from our Face Palette Makeup Angels, who can come to your location in Kerala to do the makeup. You can avail discount by 1st April 2022.

Following are the rules and regulations that will be followed for choosing the #NewYearNewYou Winner

​

  • One LIKE on the photograph posted in The Face Palette by Lekshmi Menon Facebook Page is equal to ONE vote.

  • One SHARE on the photograph posted in The Face Palette by Lekshmi Menon Facebook Page is equal to TWO votes.

  • The contestant with the maximum number of votes will be tagged as #NewYearNewYou Winner.

  • ALL LIKES AND SHARES TO BE DONE ON THE IMAGE OF THE CONTESTANTS IN THE FACE PALETTE BY LEKSHMI MENON FACEBOOK PAGE ONLY.

  •  The winner title/ gifts or Makeovers is not exchangeable for any kind of monetary benefit and neither will the participant claim the same.

Kindly note:

 

  • The campaign is reserved for female participants only and strictly online.

  • The Face Palette reserves the right to use your image for marketing purposes.

  • The 4 women chosen for makeover should promote their pictures posted on the Facebook page. In case, they express an inability to promote their pictures, they will have to pay the cost for the makeovers.

  • The campaign is reserved for female participants above the age of 18.

  • By participating in the campaign, you agree that you do not have any medical conditions which get affected by the makeover.

  • The makeovers, which includes makeup and hairstyling, will be done at our studio in Kadavantra

  • The women chosen for the makeovers needs to make their own transport arrangements or other arrangements to reach the studio.

  • Makeovers are not exchangeable for any kind of monetary benefits and neither will participants claim the same

  • All decisions made by the Organisers are final and binding in all aspects relating to the campaign

  • The organisers retain the right to make any changes to the campaign, its format, date, rules and in any matter related to this event, at any time before or during the campaign
