Hello my beautiful lovely friends...

Remember guys, I do these reviews without any bias as a fan to any of these Bollywood stars. I consider from a professional aspect and review as to what they could have done better. If it is good, I would not hesitate to put it forward and if something is bad, I would say it forthright as well. That is what a review is all about... if it is all sparkles and stars, then there is no point to this whole thing isn't it! :)

Well, let me crack on with my review again and this time I have got Aishwarya Rai under the scanner when she wore Elie Saab Teal gown for the film festival premiere of 'Carol'.

I love being creative with Fashion and Makeup and as I say, there are no strict rules to it. Follow what your heart says and wear it with confidence. However, through a post as such and being a blogger, I put in constructive criticism about what could have been done better by the celebrities and what really stood out to me. I like to say both positives as well as things that could have improved. Ash in Elie Saab Teal Gown

DRESS: Ok, I need to admit, I am a big big big fan of Elie Saab!! I do love their gowns and the beading and intricate work that goes behind it. I do sit and follow up their collection quite a lot. It is like admiring art! Many celebrities do prefer to wear Saab and Ash is no less. She has been a fan of the Saab collection for many, many years and this particular gown for her was custom-made inspired from his Spring 2015 collection. I love the teal shade, suits Ash beautifully and I do love the beading and sparkling work that has gone into it. Ask me if it is one of my favourite Elie Saab works... Hm, No! I do love the take on the whole thing, but the sheer skirt... somehow lacks that oomph factor that the usual Elie Saab creations own. However, Ash does carry the whole outfit with panache and does own the red carpet in elegance and style.

MAKEUP: I do love the fact that she experimented with the Teal shade on her lower waterline and lashline and paired the makeup with a nice bold lip as well. Not many could quite pull it off at the red carpet, but Ash really looked stunning. Ash's base makeup is flawlessly done and there is the subtle use of contouring which does not overpower at all. Her blush is also used very subtle that has quite the same undertone as her lipstick.. quite plum-pink shade. Her eyes are done beautifully, very neutral with a slight smoked out look using a taupy-grey and black eyeshadows. There is bit of warm brown shade used in her crease as a transitional shade and as usual, she wears a jet black eyeliner on her upper lashline. The upper eyeliner starts from the inner tear duct very light and goes thicker from the point her lashes start giving her beautiful eyes even more definition. Given her natural sea blue-green eyes, using shades like teal can sometimes clash, however, Ash looks stunning in it. Product Recommendation for Teal Eyeliner:

Urban Decay Covet, MAC Undercurrent. You can also use a green and blue eyeliner mixed and dab a bit of similar eyeshadow on top.

Product Recommendation for Ash's Lipstick: As for her bold lips, it is said that Ash was wearing L'Oreal lipstick 430 Mon Jules for this look! So there you go! :) I love the fact that she rocked that beautiful lipstick.

HAIR: I love her hair. Again, she decided to wear the hair in loose waves this time as well. Don't get me wrong, I love her hair and I do think it suits her well... but with a beautiful face like that, I feel she could have tried and experimented with something else to her hair. Ah well... but I do adore that brown locks!! :) Pretty isn't it! ACCESSORIES: Her accessories with this beaded teal gown was on point! She paired it well with diamond studs, but what stood out for me was that ring she wore. She wore luxurious jewellery brand De Grisogono cushion cut, 28 carats Blue Sapphire and few emeralds. Her accessory choice screamed elegance at its best!

Overall Rating: 3.5/5 Comments: Overall, I think Ash looked stunning, elegant and beautiful at the red carpet. I love the fact that she opted for a Teal shade that works as a contrast and looks stunning on the red carpet. However, like many others, I feel that the sheer Elie Saab gown is not among my favourites considering the exquisite beautiful pieces of art Elie Saab creates. Her makeup is bold and beautiful and Ash carries it off really well. Her makeup is done beautifully! Her hair... I do love it... but I do feel she could have experimented it a wee bit as this year, she wore a similar hair style for all her appearances. Although, Ash dazzled on the red carpet... wooed her audience and fans... clicked pics with celebs... blew kisses to the media and totally represented India and L'Oreal with panache and style!
